Alaskan November
Hi everyone! I hope this blog helps keep you informed about our life so far away. We miss everyone, especially as the holidays near. Please enjoy the following photos of our walks on the nearly frozen solid tundra. Their are also pictures of the details of an incinolet burning, that Dave thought our brothers would especially appreciate, Cole and his best friend Hana sleeping, Dave's new "bunny boots" which are HUGE, and my new hat. Carpe Diem! Angie
Happy Halloween!
Halloween in Tuntutuliak is a little different from the lower 48. Here, the children go trick or treating but they all come at one time as a group into your house for candy. So, we had about 50 children, some dressed in costume and some not but all bundled up against the cold, enter our home and crowd around the kitchen table anxiously awaiting their treat. Cole was Spiderman first, then changed into a skeleton costume. He went around to local homes with 2 of his friends who are a little older and came home with a bagful of goodies.
