March and April 09 pictures

Hello friends and family! 41 days til we begin our tour of Alaska out of the bush and 24 working days left- YEA! We all have cabin fever and can't wait for some travel, family time and sponteneity in the great outdoors of this wonderful state. Dad, Gail, Naomi and Andy meet us in Seward June 4 then we'll all be back in PA mid June. Dave and I are looking for teaching and bball coaching jobs, hopefully near family finally- so keep us in mind. Here are some pics of our kids, my students and some of Dave out on the tundra- he tried hunting aren't you Derk-Brought men proud of him!? :) There's also one my friend Kimberly took of Mt. Redoubt. Doesn't Riley look drunk above!? Too funny. I love the one of her napping with dad and Dave calling bingo at family night. He's such a good family man. Finally, there's a pic of the siblings in their eskimo qaspeq shirts made by Wanita. Love to you all and happy birthdays to all my April and May people!

We're Back in Business!

Finally, we got a new digital camera that Cole is not allowed to touch! So- more pics are on the way. Here are a few of our first day of April with our new camera. Riley in her new eskimo boots that Wanita made her. They're called piluguq's or mucklucks. They're beautiful!!!! The Yup'ik word for white people is a word that sounds like gussik. So, that makes our kids Guskimos! :) I heard that this weekend and it cracked me up! COle and Dave were shooting hoops in his room- go figure! Toothless Cole, since he fell on the ice last week and broke out his 2 front top teeth, babies luckily, beat Daddy! Then, I took a shot of me playing with our, really mine since I'm the only one who uses it, camera. Happy April everyone! Also, for those of you who don't know my brother and his fiance Nicci are having a baby in August- a girl! And my Mom got engaged to her boyfriend Chuck- happiness all around! I'm still job hunting for a teaching job in PA and Dave's looking into coaching, so wish us luck. Love to all ~ Angie
